A Reminder of Our Inherent Nature
In December 2021 I became a grandfather, though not in the biological sense. The experience has been profound for me. I have been loving W— as best I can. I have noticed him really looking at me, and I have tried my best to look back.
Being with W— reminds me of how precious life is. He is wide open, vulnerable, and loving. He is my teacher, my reminder of our inherent human nature. May we all have opportunities be around these precious little ones.
