Awareness Is Spreading
The following gives me hope about the Israel/Palestine crisis:
A crew of Italian longshoremen refused to unload and reload a shipment of arms that was on its way to Israel. I think that’s the kind of direct civil action that we need more of.
Organizations such as If Not Now are holding rallies calling for an end to the violence, an end to the siege on Gaza, and for saving people’s homes—while at the same time explicitly opposing anti-Semitism. There are many social media posts calling for a free Palestine and an end to violence while explicitly being against anti-Semitism.
The awareness is spreading!
