A NEW PAMPHLET - The Draft Program for the Transformation of Society is a long-overdue response to Harvey Jackins’ 1978 Call for a Draft Program for Rational Wide World Changing. 


It consists of twenty-one chapters on key topics related to transforming society: Guiding the Transformation of Society, Capitalism, Care of the Environment, Nuclear Weapons, Leadership and Building Movements, Art and Creativity, Birth, Colonialism and Imperialism, Education and Learning, Food and Agriculture, Genocide, Governments, Healthcare, Legal Systems, Modern Slavery, Nationalism, Refugees and Immigrants, Science, The Labor Movement, War, World Views and Religions.


The information in each chapter is organized under three headings: THE CURRENT SITUATION—GOALS, STRATEGIES, AND ACTIONS—RESOURCES. 


The Program is far-reaching but not a comprehensive treatment of any of the selected issues. Co-Counselors who are working to improve the world will find it useful for discharging and thinking.


The Program represents the thinking of a significant number of Co-Counselors. It was authored by Julian Weissglass, John Braxton, and others.
