Why I Fundraise for RC
I have spent thirty years fundraising for RC. I have asked people I know to donate to RC. I have counseled hundreds of RCers on the topic. I have organized RCers to participate in RC fundraising projects. I have tried to inspire others to join me in fundraising. I do this for the following reasons:
Re-evaluation Counseling has made an enormous positive difference in my life, and I have seen how much of a difference it has made in others’ lives. I want the RC Communities to reach as many people as possible so that more and more people can experience the benefits of RC. I refuse to allow lack of money to limit the growth of the RC Communities and the development of RC leaders.
We need to free ourselves from the patterns that are damaging and destroying the earth and its inhabitants. Re-evaluation Counseling theory, tools, and approaches are an essential part of creating a world in which we all can flourish.
Fundraising for RC is directly tied to my own re-emergence. It pushes me to talk about RC with friends and colleagues and tell them about how central it is in my life. Asking people to contribute money is an excellent way for me to contradict my feelings of powerlessness and act in the world.
