A Large, Active African Delegation
A large delegation of folks from continental Africa attended the African Heritage People and “Mental Health” Liberation Workshop. [See previous article for more on this workshop.]
It was good Co-Counseling with them and getting more information about their lives, thus piercing the usually dominant U.S. perspective. It was good that they took on [assumed] and were supported in roles that have usually been dominated by USers.
