Now you see it!
Now you don't . . . .
Like a face peering through leaves in the mottled sun/shadow
The pattern peeks around the person
Cuckoo-like (I am she!)
Until the person's irrepressible wriggling destroys their perfect fit.
Then the person peeks around the pattern
Drinking heady draughts of good fresh air
Aglow with the surge of spirit
Zestful
Hopeful
Radiant with love
For herself and all God's creatures.
