Including Parents of Young Children
I am a home visitor who supports families with young children. I struggle every day to contradict society’s erasure of the exhausting, mind-numbing, emotionally grueling, exhilarating, fascinating, and heart-throbbing job of raising a human.
How can we make RC classes and events more accessible to parents of young children? Classes are often two hours long and in the evening. This excludes many parents of young children, especially those who also work outside the home. How are RC teachers addressing this?
