Accepting Nonsense about Reality
Almost all of us have accepted an enormous amount of nonsense about reality. We had little choice about this. There were great areas of ignorance. We were surrounded by people whom we intuited were human, intelligent, loving, and supposedly trustworthy. Because we ourselves were intelligent to begin with, we assumed that the human entities around us would also be intelligent. Because we ourselves were good, we assumed that the entities around us were also good. Because we ourselves intuited ourselves as powerful, we assumed that the entities around us were also powerful. So we accepted much of what we were told, even though it sometimes left us with uneasy feelings and a sense of conflict.
