An Impossible Situation
We parents understand the full weight of the responsibility of child-raising. And we understand that raising and caring for young people are not supported by the society (especially in the United States).
We, as individuals, are left alone to raise young people—it is seen as a private project. We alone must figure out how to provide the necessities for them and give them the time and attention they need to thrive. This is parents’ oppression.
As for abortion policy, we must raise children without support from the society while the society decides whether or not we will have children. This puts women in an impossible situation.
