RC Classes on the Climate Crisis
Our Region devoted our January and February RC classes to discharging on the climate crisis and freeing our minds to act.
We focused on discharging early distresses; eliminating racism; moving toward action; Sustaining All Life (SAL); and learning more about the climate crisis.
I shared my class plans with the RC teachers in our Region and invited them to use as much or as little of them as they wanted. I’m also inviting others to use them in any way that might be helpful.
(I’m not suggesting that they are a model or the “right” way to do a class. Every teacher must figure out what works best for them and their students. Also, the plans are for an RC class in the United States—classes in other countries would look different.)
You can find my class plans on the RC website at <www.rc.org/publication/environment/more_outlines>.
It is reassuring that so many of us are teaching and leading on this topic!
