Having a “Strong Mind”

At the South, Central, and West Asian Workshop, Azi talked about her definition of a “strong mind.”

What is a strong mind?

  • Trusting your own mind—we get to fight hard to trust our own human intelligence
  • Trusting that people around us also have access to their intelligence
  • Trusting the discharge process—if people are given our attention and confidence and the space to discharge, their intelligence can work well

Azi also said that intelligence becomes louder and clearer as we discharge. This has helped me recommit to having at least sixty-minute-long Co-Counseling sessions in addition to mini-sessions.
