A Listening Circle
for Young Latin
American Women

As a follow-up to the Sustaining All Life/United to End Racism (SAL/UER) events at Climate Week, we offered everyone who had come to an event the opportunity to join a support group organized by constituency, geography, or language. (We offered eighteen support groups.) Below is a report from one of the groups. —Diane Shisk

Our listening circle for Latin American women under thirty went well.

We met four times (once every two weeks) and finished yesterday. D— was my assistant for the four meetings.

Four women, eighteen to twenty-five years old, attended. All of them were very interested in the circles and in continuing to learn more RC tools.

D— is about to start an online fundamentals class. We have invited the women, and they are interested in being part of it. Next week we will give the introductory talk (for them along with some other people who have been interested).
