Called to Be
Created whole-a micro-trinity
I'm called to be myself,
my deepest self, beyond the
many selves I claim to be.
Barely aware of who I am,
I glimpse through shrouded fog,
beyond the maze of structures
built to serve my passing needs,
my wants, and see within
a blaze of beauty like a sun
caressing everything.
Each misted ray of light
filters through walls and
fences I have built to guard
this God-given inner self.
They merge, become an ever
brightening radiance, dispelling
darkness everywhere.
Let go of fear, let love,
let truth appear.
