The Co-Counseling Community of the Congo just learned of the tragic loss of Harvey Jackins,
founder of Re-evaluation Counseling.
The Congolese Co-Counseling Community is profoundly saddened by this news.
At the last Worldwide Conference, I had the privilege of getting to know this illustrious man. He
impressed me with his intelligence, the force of his conviction, his simplicity, and his humanism. His
loss certainly leaves a great sorrow in my heart, but it also reinforces the commitment I made at
the conference in Seattle to develop RC in the Congo on the basis of what I learned in
Toronto and Seattle and from our small existing Community.
