When I first met Harvey, what struck me most was what a great ally he was. He would do anything for every woman, and for me-to move out of our internalized sexism and our stuck places. He put a Kleenex on his head, pretended to be a timid female, and I laughed so much. He looked so expectant and would make fun, be sweet, be tough-whatever it took, he would do it.

His vision, love, expectations, and ability to connect to the real person in each of us changed my life, and I borrowed his confidence in me daily.
