Harvey was one of the greatest allies the Jewish people have ever had. He loved so many of us deeply and personally and had close relationships with many Jews all over the world. He understood early on in the development of all the liberation work in RC the right and need for Jews to build an independent Jewish liberation movement. And he stood up for Jewish liberation over and over again.
It was at that first Jewish workshop that he proposed the idea of holding RC Community-wide Passover Seders as a way to contradict Jewish isolation. And since that proposal, thousands of these Seders have been held all over the world.
He had the biggest world vision and picture for Jewish liberation that any single person has had to date.
Harvey has been in many ways the single most important person in my life. And I am who I am today because of Harvey's huge vision and his very personal love and confidence in me.
