Accessibility and
Special Needs
Help ensure everyone can get around the retreat center, into meeting hall, dining hall, cabins, have access to playtime.
Announcements Receive requests for announcements, decide what to announce and announce as required.
Beauty and
Order
Oversee beauty and order in common areas after every class or other activity and at close of workshop.
Cabin Cleanup Ensure the cabins are left in the same condition or better than when you arrived.
Class and
Meeting Convenor
Ensure all RCers are ready to start class or meetings by the time scheduled; coordinate song group for start of meetings.
Creativity Night Organize the evening; make sure everything goes well
Creativity Table Provide materials for hands-on creativity; keep materials in order and replace when necessary
Organizer No explanation required.
Outreach/
Isolation Buster
Ensure no RCer becomes isolated and removed from the activities of the workshop.
Playtime/
Sports Coordinator
Coordinate activities for playtime and ensure everyone can participate in an activity.
Problem Solver Listen to issues and provide solutions to resolve, coordinate with others as required.
Registration and
Fees
Register RCer, collect balance due, give packet, give directions to cabin
Scribes Write whatever is required on poster pads during classes.
Shabbath Lead Shabbath celebration
Snacks Organize and maintain snacks for workshop.
Songs Lead songs before class.
Timer for
Mini Sessions
Provide the official timer for mini sessions.
Workshop Setup/
Takedown
Organize the meeting hall sofas, chairs and tables.
