Fundraising for UER has supported many efforts, including those listed below. Our work is ongoing, with projects in many parts of the world. If you are interested in raising funds for UER (or other ReEvaluation Counseling projects), please review our guidelines for fundraising.
In 2001, the RC Communities successfully raised enough money to send a delegation of more than fifty Co-Counselors to Durban as part of United to End Racism's delegation to the NGO Forum of the United Nations World Conference Against Racism (WCAR). UER returned from the WCAR with the names and contact information for more than five hundred people from many countries who are interested in learning more about UER and RC. UER has continued our fundraising efforts to support the follow-up work needed to teach RC to these people and for other projects aimed at eliminating racism.
In 2004, 2005, and 2006, UER sent a delegation of co-counselors to participate in and present at the Annual Conference on White Privilege. UER received a foundation grant that funded the majority of our efforts at this conference, and additional fundraising supported follow-up work with contacts we made at the conference.
Currently UER is raising funds to send a delegation of 21 Co-Counselors to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada under the title "United to End Racism: Healing from War, Working for Peace. At the Forum we will hold short workshops, lead panels for Forum participants to talk about their experiences with war and making peace, offer support groups, and share our knowledge, experience, and practice of the tools of Re-Evaluation Counseling with the individuals and organizations we meet.
