Harvey did and said so much that altered my life, and the lives of so many others, in a positive way. What I have always admired most about his vast panoply of contributions is his insights on liberation work-the importance of support groups for each liberation area, the interaction and interconnection of the different oppressions, and his enormous commitment to young people's liberation.

I enjoyed meeting Harvey many times, and his sense of humor, and of course, his keen insight and sensitivity about people.
